Friday Five

1. How are you planning to spend the summer [winter]?
2. What was your first summer job?
3. If you could go anywhere this summer [winter], where would you go?
4. What was your worst vacation ever?
5. What was your best vacation ever?

brought to you by Friday Five

these summer vacations aren't much in my plans,
though we used to go on long trips with the clan,
my summer this year is just filled with long work,
and weekends and hockey are most of the perks,

this Old routine stems from my first summer job,
just messing with database till my head throbbed,
but that was a good way to get me acquainted,
with working all summer, not once had i fainted!

it's Just as well that i keep busy all summer,
the fear of planes really can be quite a bummer
i'm limited for now to places by car,
you have to find something that's not much too far

i'd still like to someday go travel a ton,
a drive with a friend 'cross the nation'd be fun
eventually i'd like to see a few countries
to places around the world with tasty munchies?

to places in europe like greece, spain or sweden!
i feel that they could be like places of eden.
i haven't had any bad trips to remember,
the worst were just tours which were boring for members,

the best though was one trip i took to san fran,
'cause visiting your friends is always a good plan.
i guess the important things aren't destinations,
the people i'm with are the point of vacations.

State of the Blog

Attempting to post things that try to be serious
Can only result in our turning delirious,
So what should I do now, just make rhymes hilarious??
A blog can't be like this, it's way too precarious.
And all of these poems just sound oh, so silly
They're not even fit for lipsync by 'vanilli

Simplistic old poetry's not so fullfilling,
To read this, i feel like you all won't be willing,
So what should i do with it, give up on verse?
And come up with something that's probably worse??? :(

Tip of the Week

when someone tells you they are reading the new harry potter book, the proper response is NOT "oh, did you hear ... gets killed?" just because you read it in a damn chinese newspaper.
